The City Rooms: Terms and Conditions

 

PAYMENTS

HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?

To confirm your booking we require a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of £15.00 per person.

A booking is only confirmed once we have received the payment. 

All deposits are due within 72 hours of clicking "confirm the booking" on EPO.

Full payment is required no later than 31st October 2020.

HOW DO I PAY?

All payments will be taken via card through our EPO system. No cash payments will be accepted. 

CAN I GET A VAT INVOICE?

Yes, these can be issued after your deposit or full payment is made. Simply make a request for a VAT invoice to be issued, this will automatically be sent to your email within 24 hours. 

DOES YOUR BAR ACCEPT CASH OR CARD?

Our bar accepts both cash and card, there is no minimum spend.

BOOKINGS

HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?

Bookings will all be made through our website through EPO, this will prompt for menu choices, drinks pre-orders and payment information. Visit thecityrooms.co.uk/christmas Please note we are unable to provisionally hold dates for shared party nights so to avoid disappointment book online today! Once a deposit payment has been made then your booking is con?rmed.

CAN WE ADD EXTRA PEOPLE TO OUR PARTY?

Yes of course, providing that we have space on the night. Please ensure their names and menu choices are given at the time. We require all information at least three weeks prior to the event. 

CAN WE REDUCE OUR NUMBERS?

All Deposits are Non-Refundable meaning a reduction in numbers would result in a loss of Deposit. Please do keep us updated so we can ensure that your table is set correctly.

 

MENU CHOICES

Your individual Menu Choices are required no later than 3 weeks before your party date. If Menus are not submitted, a default menu will be selected.

This also includes informing us of any Allergies or Dietary Requirements.

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE SEATED ON EACH TABLE?

We seat up to 12 people on our tables. Parties of more than 12 people will be split across tables next to each other.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Cocktail dresses, and lounge suits. Strictly no jeans or trainers. 

WHAT DO DRINKS VOUCHERS ENTITLE US TO?

Each drinks voucher entitles you to 2 soft drinks or a glass of house wine or single house spirit and mixer (excluding red bull) or a pint of selected beer/cider. Please speak with a coordinator regarding pricing and how to purchase.

VENUE

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING?

We are delighted to offer our guests a special discounted rate at the Rutland Centre NCP on Halford Street of £5.20 for 24 hours. You can obtain a discount ticket at the reception desk at The City Rooms, and the directions for use are on the back.

DO YOU HAVE OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION?

Yes, we have four bedrooms within our venue, charged at £80.00 room only. We also have special rates at St Martin’s Lodge ideally located a short distance from The City Rooms. Please contact our Sales Team for further information.

DOES THE VENUE HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?

Yes, we have disabled access to all our function rooms. However, please note that we do not have disabled access to any of the four bedrooms
